«Χαμός» στο twitter για τον Τζέραρντ

Η είδηση της αποχώρησης του Στίβεν Τζέραρντ κυριαρχεί στα social media, με πολλούς γνωστές προσωπικότητες του ποδοσφαίρου στην Αγγλία, μεταξύ των οποίων και ορισμένοι πρώην και νυν συμπαίκτες του, αλλά και απλοί φίλαθλοι να σχολιάζουν την απόφασή του που προκαλεί ήδη ποικίλες αντιδράσεις.

Αρκετοί θεωρούν πως πράττει σωστά, ώστε να διεκδικήσει περισσότερους τίτλους σε κάποια άλλη μεγάλη ομάδα, ενώ άλλοι δεν μπορούν να πιστέψουν πως θα αγωνιστεί με άλλη φανέλα πέραν αυτής των «κόκκινων». Ωστόσο όλοι αναγνωρίζουν τη σπουδαία καριέρα του στο Μέρσεϊσαϊντ.
